Kia ora Bruce
I was fortunate enough to stay at Tapu Te Ranga Marae for the first time this week. I spent a whole week there and loved it. I wasn't sure what i was in for at first but found it to be a rewarding and spiritual experience. It has made me feel more in touch with my Maori heritage and has made me eagar to learn more.
I listened to your daughter explain the meaning of the different rooms and pictures and I was amazed at her passion, knowledge and mana. We all agreed that she is going to go a long way.
I am interested in hearing the love story behind the ceiling having the reinforcement of a diamond shape again, i tried to relay the story to my whanau but got my words all muddled up. I would appreciate it if you could send it to me please.
Thanks again for an awesome experience, i truely appreciated it.

Sorry Koro I missed your show on Kaitiaki but mum let me know all about it. I was up in my cousins tree hut, and because it took me so long to climb up I didn;t want to come down ahahah!! I really loved it being up there because I have been trying to get up there for so long. And when I finally did, I could hear mum calling to tell me that Koro is on TV. sO iM REALLY very sorry and I hope that they will put it on again. But i really loved being up in the tree hut Koro it was so much fun. I love you all and i think you are special. mmmwwaah! big hgs and kisses from me RUKA.

Kia Ora Bruce, Pare and everyone. I was one of the very priveliged that stayed at Tapu Te Ranga during the week of Mata Ora. I never had a chance to say goodbye or to thank all of you for making our stay so pleasant. We had a really successful week bringing the ancient knowledge of the stars to the people of Wellington and we will continue Mata Ora every year from now until forever so everyone can gain access to this higher knowledge that is so important for us as New Zealanders. Your marae is absolutley awesome and when i stayed in the Tane whare i felt so humbled and so very much inspired and at peace. Thank you so much.

A whanau section would be a good place to let everyone know how to gain access to grants and scholerships from our IWI. I have looked into it but I dont know who to talk to. Dad, if you know who the person to contact from our IWI then it would be good for all your moko who want to further their education to get financial help. There are even some IWI grants to help those wanting to start their own business.

Kia ora kotuou.
I was just talking to dad and got cut off, but not before he directed me towards this website. I enjoyed the time we had down there this year, it was great to see the whanau from aussie again. Dad, have you thought about making a special whanau section on this website. It would be a good place to have our whakapapa so that it could be accessed by the whanau wherever, whenever.
whanau could also add to the whakapapa when ever there are any new additions. It might be a good place to give whanau the information on how they
