The Earth mother is everything!!! This is what I take away with me from my latest visit to Tapu te Ranga Marae. The wise words of Matua Bruce remind me that we own nothing... everything is temporary except the love in your heart and in your whānau, village...
Fantastic place, fantastic people. Kia ora!!!

Wow, what an amazing time we had at Tapu te Ranga marae. Our small roopu stayed for two days and the manaakitanga was amazing. The korero shared with us by Matua Bruce was not only inspirational but also very exciting. We look forward to keeping in touch

Tena koe e hoa, i am sorry to have missed the South African Congress when they visited Taputeranga, i imagine it would have been a joyful occasion.
I took your advice and with some friends watched 'Patu', a historical document that reveals the passion of New Zealanders when called to task over racism. An inspiring documentary that gives hope that New Zealanders will rise up and voice their concerns about Deep Sea Drilling and Fracking in New Zealand.
Thank you for keeping the fire burning to warm our hearts and the korero for inspiration,
Love to you and your whanau
Nga mihi Merlene.

What an inspirational visit we had last week. Pare had the girls listening silently, rapt in her account of the marae. Bruce was highly motivational. The tane were fluent and fun and the girls loved the whole day. Many thanks. Please have us back next year.
